That's the nickname challenge for Solgaleo! This was incredibly fun and interesting to do! If you guys enjoyed this, then you guys should do it yourselves. If I had to decide which nickname suits Solgaleo, it would have to be Solaris! While the other nicknames are suitable, Solaris matches Solgaleo being a representative of the Sun and have traits which are associated with the Sun such as brightness, intensity of light, and being worshipped for bringing light to the earth and sustaining life. It is referred to with reverence as the beast that devours the sun.

So it makes sense to name Solgaleo after a god who has control over both the Sun and since this pokemon can light up an area like midday at its full power!
